Compensation & Benefits Information

·         Rate of pay ranges from: $22.47 to $24.86, as per the SEIU-Service Collective Agreement

·         Percent in lieu and vacation percent pay up to 18%, as per the SEIU-Service Collective Agreement

Job Summary:

To provide basic supervision of patients who may require continuous one-on-one monitoring during their stay at Blanche River Health.

Requirements:

·     Completion of Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.

·     Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA).

·     Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI).

·     Positive Approaches to Care – Behavioral Supports Ontario (BSO) Training.

·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Flexibility to work shifts including days/nights, weekends and holidays as required.

·         Physical ability to assist with mobility and activities of daily living as needed. 

·         Must be able to make immediate decisions, while maintaining composure, in emergency response situations with minimal supervision.

·         Bilingualism (French and English) would be considered an asset for all positions.
