DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Start Date: As soon as possible
Key Responsibilities:
· Data Entry: Maintain accurate financial records by entering data into accounting system (Sage 50) and spreadsheets (Excel). As well as prepare payroll for processing.
· Inventory Management: Track and manage inventory, ensuring stock levels are accurate.
· Internal and External Communication: Act as a point of contact for both internal team members and external parties.
· Email/ Phone Management: Respond to emails promptly, ensuring clear communication, answer incoming phone calls and direct calls where needed.
· Shipping & Invoicing: Process the shipping and invoicing of trains and trucks, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
· Office Duties: Process benefits, union dues and RSP contributions, order and maintain office supplies, filing and all other required office tasks.
Requirements:
· Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar administrative or accounting role.
· Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
· Familiarity with accounting software (Sage 50) and Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook).
· Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, positive- easy going attitude.
· Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with vendors and employees.
· Must have own transportation
· Work schedule: Full time, Monday – Friday.
