Compensation & Benefits Information
· Rate of pay ranges from: $41.68 to $53.28, as per the OPSEU Collective Agreement

· Paid percent in lieu of benefits and vacation percent pay of up to 20% - paid out bi-weekly as per the OPSEU Collective Agreement
Job Summary:
The Registered Dietitian (RD), position at Blanche River Health (BRH) is responsible for supporting BRH clinical nutrition needs including inpatient, ALC/LTC patients, Food Services and the Diabetes Program as required. The RD participates in the development, delivery and evaluation of programs and services of the Clinical Nutrition Program. The RD is responsible for inpatient clinical nutrition assessment, and nutrition care plan implementation. Referrals may include, but are not limited to, enteral and parenteral nutrition, swallowing assessments, malnutrition, etc.
Qualifications
Education:
Certifications and Registrations
- University Degree in Nutrition and approved Dietetic Internship required
- Current registration with the College of Dieticians of Ontario in good standing is required
- Certified Diabetes Educator or be willing to obtain within first two years of employment
Skill, Ability & Experience:
- Dynamic, self-motivated, encouraging and energetic individual.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Proficient in Meditech and/or health care software
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of the team
- Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle or access to reliable transportation for travel between sites
- Bilingualism in both official languages an asset
