Early Childhood Educator OR Child Care Assistant
2 part time positions
Qualifications
● High School Diploma / Early Childhood Education Diploma (if applicable)
● Registered and in good standing with the college of ECE (if applicable)
● Current CPR/First Aid certificate
● Current and cleared vulnerable sector check
● Able to work a split shift 7:00AM-9:00AM and 2:00PM-5:30PM, and a full 7.5 hr shift on
PD Days, school holidays, and throughout the summer.
● Able to work extra hours as needed.
● 18 years of age or older.
Responsibilities
● Assisting the Registered Early Childhood Educator in/ coordinating and the
implementation of your assigned program, including planning, preparing and facilitating
all activities.
● Providing a creative, stimulating and safe environment for children.
● Maintaining child/adult ratios.
● Assist with supervising any volunteers or placement students.
● Flexible to work in all classrooms and in the kitchen as needed.
● Assist the supervisor with any responsibilities related to the centre as requested by the
supervisor.
