About This Opportunity

This position will join our team working in Matachewan, Ontario on a full-time basis. The schedule is 7 days on, 7 days off.

This position offers a salary range of $65.00 to $75.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate underground scooptrams/LHD equipment to muck and haul blasted material from development headings.
• Safely muck headings, drawpoints, and other underground work areas while maintaining safe mucking practices.
• Work closely with various departments, including Mine Operations, Maintenance, and other site personnel, to support safe, efficient, and reliable underground operations.
• Participate in workplace inspections, safety meetings, and other site safety initiatives.
• All other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating scooptrams in an underground mining environment.
• Basic Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core Program (770010) with modules U0000, U0001, U0002, U00012, U0010, and U0068B as a minimum.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Valid driver's licence.
• Eligible to work in Canada
