Compensation & Benefits Information

·         Rate of pay ranges from: $29.32 to $30.59, as per the SEIU-Service Collective Agreement

·         Eligibility to enroll in the HEALTHCARE OF ONTARIO PENSION PLAN (HOOPP). Click on the link provided for more information - https://hoopp.com/

·         Percent in lieu and vacation percent pay up to 18%, as per the SEIU-Service Collective Agreement

Requirements:

·         Ontario Secondary School Diploma plus related experience.

·         Demonstrates competent clerical skills, working knowledge of medical terminology essential.

·         Demonstrated computer knowledge and acceptable level of keyboarding proficiency.

·         Must illustrate superior customer service, telephone skills; demonstrate professionalism, courteous approach with the public, staff and physicians.

·         Must be able to work independently and collaboratively with all members of the health care team.

·         Must be able to work with limited supervision in a fast paced environment

·         Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

·         Demonstrated ability to attend work promptly and regularly and to maintain same.

·         Must maintain principles of confidentiality.

·         Must be willing to work within all Ward Clerk positions as needed.  

·         The ability to speak Advanced Level French is mandatory. A test will be administered.

·         Other duties as assigned.
