As a Part-Time Counsellor (Personal Support Worker) you will be responsible to maintain a safe and nurturing home and to assist each person develop to his/her full potential.

Remuneration: $25.96/hr

Qualifications and Experience:
 Minimum Grade 12 - DSW or PSW certificate or its equivalent in a related field is preferred
 Experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities is an asset
 Valid driver’s license
 Valid First Aid certificate
 Fully vaccinated for Covid-19
 Demonstrated ability in dealing effectively with challenging behaviours and situations
 Demonstrated ability in developing and maintaining healthy, professional relationships with supported individuals and colleagues
 Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
 Must have the ability to work as an effective team member
 Must be able to make mature and sound decisions
 Must be able to follow agency’s policies and procedures
