Human Resources Administrator
Full-Time • Kirkland Lake Region
The HR Administrator, under the direction of the Human Resources Officer, will support the Human Resources department. He/she will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners. The main duties include maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents (e.g. employment records and onboarding guides) and updating internal databases.
Our ideal candidate has experience with HR procedures and can manage various administrative tasks in a timely manner all while ensuring the HR department supports the employees while conforming to labor laws.
Requirements (include but not limited to):
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar field
- Any relevant certification(s) in HRM courses would be an asset
- Valid Class G Licence
Thorough knowledge of labor laws
Good communication (especially listening), office/clerical, administrative and interpersonal skills are of great importance
Flexibility and willingness to learn at all times
Bilingual an asset
This position is based on 35-hour work week from Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4: 30 p.m.
