Position: COMMUNITY EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST - Training Consultant
Location: Kirkland Lake, ON Flexible Hours 10 hrs./week avg. Hourly Wage: $40/hr.
Contract: 6 months Start Date: October 1, 2023 End Date: March 31, 2024

A person that has:
· Passion in advocating for lifelong learning and skill development of all adults in their pursuit to fulfilling training goals, whether for the purpose of work, school, home, or community
· Professional experience networking and collaborating with employers and businesses within the community
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; ability to write in a clear, concise, and legible manner
· Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and tact
Qualifications
· Postsecondary education in adult education, social services, or related fields
· 1 – 3 years of related work experience in the fields of employment services, essential skills training for the workforce, or adult education / literacy and basic skills training
